The Accounts Receivable module provides an efficient and organized system for maintaining customer information, which, in turn, can lead to improved customer service and profitability.
The Accounts Receivable module allows you to track customer information. The Accounts Receivable module allows you to record customer payments, look up credit histories, mark-up rate tables, etc. You can also track customer totals by aging categories, outstanding amount, billed amount, payment, and retainage.
Within the Accounts Receivable module, you can define your own aging period and use the invoice date or invoice due date to age customer balances. Customer correspondence can also be maintained within this module and can be linked to customers, contracts, contract items, change orders, invoices, and much more.
Cash receipts can be posted against invoices or left as unapplied customer cash receipts. Partial payments can be applied in this module as well. Receivables can be adjusted by using the adjust receivables task item. Credit memos can be created and applied here as well. If a cash receipt is applied to the incorrect customer, you can easily move it to the correct customer within this task.
The inquiry section allows you to choose from several customizable Accounts Receivable options. You can look up the last invoice or cash receipt, activity by contract, job or customer. Conditions can be set in the inquiry windows to allow you to customize your reporting to drill down to detail that is required. You can insert columns to pull information you need for a particular inquiry. These inquiries can also be printed as you have defined in this task. Using integrated access tools, any information regarding receivables is immediately available.
There are numerous canned reports that can be modified to get you the information you would like to see. You will also be able to prepare customer statements on demand automatically.
