Janine Smith
Janine has been with TGG for roughly 14 years, climbing from Staff Accountant to Accounting Manager to Controller before becoming CFO in 2019. She holds a Master of Science in Accountancy from San Diego State University, and her client work has spanned SaaS, professional services, manufacturing and distribution, e-commerce, healthcare, investment firms, and construction — including helping one client complete a real estate purchase that generated more than $1 million in equity, and helping another clean up its books ahead of a successful company sale. She calls building financial forecasts and helping business owners see their future in the numbers her favorite part of the job. At home in Rock Hill, South Carolina, she and her husband keep busy with their three young children — think after school activities, church, and family visits — with any spare time spent exploring the Carolinas.
