- Matt Garrett’s Professional Background: I have always been an entrepreneur. I started my first business when I was in college and built and sold a couple more after that. I realized through the sale of my businesses the true value of accurate accounting and wondered why small businesses don’t have access to the same financial information that large corporations do. I started TGG to provide that high-quality financial reporting to small business owners.
- What do you enjoy most about working at TGG? I enjoy the people I get to work with and how much we are able to collaborate. Seeing our people collectively working toward our mission is a rewarding thing to experience.
- How do you live TGG’s mission? I founded TGG with the mission of making business owners’ lives better through excellent financial management. I enjoy teaching business owners the value that managing by accurate numbers and having proactive information can make in their business. We have the opportunity to make a profound difference in people’s lives.
- What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? I have a passion for surfing and while I’m usually at the local surf spots, I also enjoy traveling to new destinations. I like to stay active and also enjoy cooking and BBQing on the weekends.
