Jessica McCarthy • Partner and VP, Sales & Marketing

Professional background: I grew up in a family construction business and learned the ways of business, ethics and managing financials from watching my dad grow and run his company. I moved to California and after graduating from the University of San Diego, began working for TGG as an intern in 2007. I have been able to grow my sales and marketing skills, through my passion for helping small businesses succeed and understanding the entrepreneurial spirit from a young age.
What do you enjoy most about working at TGG? The teamwork and collaboration at TGG is so helpful and I appreciate all I’m able to learn from my co-workers. When I think back to how much I’ve learned from the amazing people around me over the years at TGG, I realize how much I’m constantly learning and growing.
How do you live TGG’s mission? I love hearing business owner’s stories about why they started their business, how they came up with the concept and what it means to them. There are so many interesting companies and the variety is never-ending. I enjoy understanding a client’s goals during the sales process and then seeing those realized down the road as we continue working with them. Through the sales and marketing process, we are able to bring on companies who experience financial clarity and are able to achieve their professional and personal goals.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? I enjoy spending time with my husband, Brian and our two daughters. Most of our free time is dedicated to family time and we enjoy exploring outdoors, going to the beach and the Safari Park/Zoo. I also love to travel, read, bake and be out in our yard gardening.
